Joe Satriani Guitar Pedal

Looking at some guitar pedals earlier I ran across one from JoeSatriani. This jow satriani pedal from guitar center made me remember how I used to be so into some guitarist that didn't even really play music that I was into much, but they were so good I listened to them anyways. Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani of course were a couple that just played instrumental guitar albums that rarely included any sort of vocals. Some of the Satriani tracks were big time up and comer guitar player tracks that they tried to learn and everyone owned Surfing With the Alien. Just seeing the Joe Satriani guitar pedal brought back some memories of earlier life.

Sports and Outdoor Shopping Search

If you look at a basic search engine and want to find results for a certain line of products you won't find it listed very well. You may be able to find a single product, or a slew of stores that offer similar products, but they aren't really designed to search for the best shopping results. Plus they are loaded with hidden ads inside them that make the results a bit skewed and not in your best interest.

Not only that, but you can't find listings for every category there is and general "hot products" listed either under the categories you want with the best deals. Sporting Goods could encompass things that have no business being in the sporting goods and outdoor searches. Places like Become.com go out of their way to make sure that if you search for airsoft vests you aren't going to find a
trailer hitch cargo carrier listed among them. You will actually find a page of listings for the triax bike you searched and the best price for it rather than a bunch of ads for companies trying to poach a website visit for something that may be similar, but not what you want. Become.com t is not a problem. It is about the easiest way to search for products of ANY sort on the web.

Movie Night

This guest post from Lewis Beck

I like a lot of different movies. One of my favorite movie genres has to be horror and I absolutely love watching horror documentaries most of all. The last time I watched a documentary of that kind, I was watching it on my satellite tv, that I got after seeing this http://www.directstartv.com, and I absolutely loved everything about it. I made sure to set my alarm when the movie was coming on and I got some popcorn and sat down for a very fun time to watch some good quality movies that I knew I was going to love. I recently set up a date for all of my friends to get together to watch movies on Friday nights.

So far, we've had three dates and they keep getting better each and every time. The last movie we watched was about a serial killer and the other was about some type of haunted house. My friends love coming over because I really set the scene. I cut all of the lights and make sure to make some creepy noises while the movie is playing. We have ice cream floats and popcorn and just a really fun time. After the movie is over, we sit and discuss it on all different aspects. Sometimes we'll say we liked it and others we'll say that we should have watched a different movie on another channel.

Running With my Mother

Guest post of the week by Darrin Avery

Getting my mother to go running with me and change her life around was one of the best things that I have ever done for not only her, but also for myself. For a very long time I have been very worried about my mothers health and how she was taking care of herself. Although she wasn't overweight so much, it was the fact that she wasn't getting any cardiovascular exercise that bothered me. First I was able to get her to go walking with me, and after a few months she decided on her own that she wanted to start running. Now at 61 years old my mother is able to run 3 miles, and she runs about 3-4 times a week. As long as she sets her home security alarm (Brinks) when she leave! s and she makes sure to grab some water as well, I feel great knowing that she is out there making herself healthier. Not only is she going to be able to live longer, but I am going to be able to be with her longer as well.

Athletes and Fans Opiate Addicts?

There is no better example of opiate addiction than some of the popular athletes of today. Brett Favre tops the list as the most well known a celebrity to have an addiction to the pain medication vicodin. I can say with certainly how easy it is for many to get addicted to such medications simply because of how easy it is to get a quick buzz off of them.

If you have an addictive personality already, it would not shock me in the least if any of these prescription meds found their way into your daily routine. Athletes get them with ease due to the amount of nagging injuries they have. Especially football players who take a beating on a weekly basis and most likely have many long-term chronic pain afflictions.

The main benefit for professional athletes who have the money is that when they finally decide they are addicted they have many choices for rehab, while a many of us would have a long painful road to kicking the habit. Many people say it is harder to quit these drugs than many of the harder drugs that people get addicted to, and I can understand why. That is why finding a rapid opiate detox system would be incredibly helpful for anyone that really wants to quit.
