Stone Hawk Drug Rehab

The Stone Hawk drug rehab facility has an outstanding success rate. Over 75%! Can you believe that? That is outstanding and certainly one of the best success rates in the country. The facility is located in Battle Creek, Michigan. The cereal capital of the world by the way :).

At Stone Hawk, they believe in teaching the student how to live life with out drugs and alcohol. Students of the facility set the moral codes they want to live by themselves and do not have them force fed to them like so many other programs. The ability to live their lives by their own standards and not forced to live with some codes that simply do not reflect their life's views.

Stone Hawk works with students to detoxify the system by flushing toxins out of the body through saunas and then lets them begin to develop their own codes to live by. Building a foundation of skills to keep them from using drugs and alcohol. Anyone who has these addictions has the same fears I did when they wanted to quit. What will I do for fun now? That is why treatment is so necessary. You must learn how to live your life with out them from people that know how to do it. All it takes is a little will to take the first step. Then once you have decided to try to quit the people here can help you stay clean by teaching you how.

Fmr teacher says boss fired her believing she was witch

You can sue for anything these days and we have another whacky one to look at today. With teachers dating students to crazy kids shooting up schools, why not a witch? CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) - Was she casting spells or teaching spelling?

In an unfolding trial, lawyers are debating a former teacher's claims in a US$2-million federal lawsuit that she was improperly fired from Hampton Bays elementary school because administrators and others thought she was a witch.

Lauren Berrios, 37, who denies ever practising witchcraft, sued in 2001 after she was fired following her second year as a reading specialist teacher. She has since moved to the Atlanta area, where she is working as a teacher. The trial in the lawsuit began Wednesday in New York.

Can I Get Some Baseball Already?

I have really lost interest in sports to a large degree since I have been so busy lately, but I do look forward to baseball. I pay attention to the NFL, NBA, and the MLB, but baseball is by far my favorite sport. With the additions the Tigers have added and the way they finished last year in the World Series I'm really excited to see what the season has in store.
