Music the year you turned 18

I got tagged on this from ami-chan and well it took me about a month to do it I think...haha

Hey...I got busy and I'm not a real fan of memes either so I put them off as long as possible.

The rules: Go over to popculturemadness.com, click on the decade you turned 18, find the actual year you turned 18, and copy the top songs for that year…pasting them.

1994
December 25 - January 21: Hero - Mariah Carey
January 22 - February 11: All For Love - Bryan Adams/Rod Stewart/Sting
February 12 - March 11: Power of Love - CĂ©line Dion
March 12 - April 15: The Sign - Ace of Base
April 16 - May 20: Bump N' Grind - R. Kelly
May 21 - August 5: I Swear - All-4-One
August 6 - August 26: Stay (I Missed You) - Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories
August 27 - December 2: I'll Make Love To You - Boyz II Men
December 3, 1994 - January 13, 1995: On Bended Knee - Boyz II Men

Good god man. 2007 NBA Mock Draft What a shitty year for music. At least on this chart. The only CDs I aactually owned on this list were R Kelly and Boyz II Men. This was back in the Snoop/Dre and Alternative Rock era really. A lot of Gangsta rap, alternative rock, heavy metal, and the emergence of a whole ton of ridiculous boy bands and little girl music.

Like I said...I'm not a fan of memes so I am not tagging anyone else.

Working from home

Since November I have earned all of my money working out of my home. I do it all online too. I really think that I am going to be doing something in this capacity for the rest of my life. I'm not an employee type of person so it serves me well.

Back in November I decided that I would find a group of WAH jobs that I could do together and not have to get a real job. I figured the way most of them were I was going to have to take on about 10 different WAH jobs to make a decent amount of money. Well...eventually during my search (a couple weeks) I discovered blogging and it has taken off pretty well. I'm making a few grand a month just doing paid posting for various sites, and am even learning how to make a bit of ad money as well. At this point my goal is to turn all of my sites into ad machines instead of having to do so much work. I am learning quite a bit about all of this now, but there is quite a ways to go to truly make sites that earn on their own.

For those thinking about working out of your home I would definitely suggest learning the blogging trade. Anything is truly possible with it I think. You may even find more once you start to learn. The next thing you know you will need some Budgeting software because you are running a full blown business.

Tigers get a win

Mike Maroth had his first start since an injury that knocked him out for the majority of last season. Pitched well enough to get the win, but still allowed 4 runs.

The bullpen actually looked halfway decent today compared to the last few. They must have had some excellent hangover cures after that last game. I am a bit worried about the guys like Mesa and Rodney. Mesa I've always hated really as a pitcher and he is just one of those guys you hate to watch. Walks a ton of people and gives up hits. HE was a closer for Pittsburgh for a few years and was effective, but his numbers were terrible year in and year out. I guess he is like a poor man's Todd Jones now, which isn't saying a whole lot.

Game wasn't on today so i went and bought a new radio so I could listen to it while I did a bit of blogging work. It seems like every radio I have ever had has just not been able to work in this area. I haven't used a radio in years really either, but I went with an old school GE Super Radio. The older technology seems to work better than these new cheap ass ones I see everywhere. I mean I can't even get FM stations in this house for most of the radios I have, but this thing is picking up AM stations as clear as FM.

Postponed due to snow...

Gotta love baseball in April. Funny thing is a guy in my league has 4 Tigers on his team and he is basically screwed today...lol

I figured I'd hook him up with a couple advertising pens though to make him feel better. I have a few Tigers pens I had stashed away that I hadn't gotten around to giving out to my fantasy league faithful so he was at least pretty happy about that.

Not sure when the game is rescheduled for yet. Glad I didn't go to Detroit this week for the opening series like I had planned to. It has been freezing out and I can't stand the cold. I think I'm going to get over there for the White Sox series in a couple weeks, or go to the Mets series in June when it is finally warm for good.

Man the Tigers bullpen looks shakey

They were pummeling the JAys yesterday and had a 9-0 lead I think at one point. LAter on they added one more run and were up 10-2. Robertson got a quality start and looked great. If it wasn't for his great game they would have been in serious trouble because the Jays tore the bullpen up. They got to within 1 run. That is unreal with the Tigers scoring 10 runs to let a team back into it like that . Rodney got shelled again for the 2nd straight game. If the pen is going to be this ugly all season there will be some fans in Drug rehab by the time it is over.

Tigers will go 0-162

Wow...that game sucked. Sure glad I avoided the score all day. Ugh.

Thought I was going to be in for an awesome game as it started out 3-0 with the Tigers getting behind in the 1st inning, only to have them tie it up later on. Then in extra innings they give up a few and piss away any chance of making a go of it. Oh Joy.

Not even praying on a catholic bible was going to get them the win that day. Now we have to wait for a day off to see another stellar performance.

Sheffield was decent I guess. Didn't make great contact , but got a couple of RBIs on weak ABs so i guess that guy is gold no matter what he does.

I have still not seen the Tigers score

This is really an amazing accomplishment for me since I spend so much time on the internet. I needed to actually set my fantasy team and I didn't do it so I wouldn't see the score. It is taking all my will power not to look. I can't look at any scores, or player stats until I see this game which is killing me. In fact I have to avoid my family and any friends that are sports fans until I see the game. Yeah I'm a weirdo for this stuff. If it was Game 2 I wouldn't care, but this is Opening day!

So what have I been doing? I've been reading about this Telecom Consulting service. Looks like a great way to save money for any business.

CBS Sportsline Fantasy Baseball

I'm in a few keeper leagues for football and baseball, but there really isn't a good place to have one of these leagues because you can't have your team up all year, or trade draft picks with out having to do it manually. Players will need to have another manager make picks for them during the draft so you have to rely on Instant messaging during the draft which is a big pain in the ass.

CBS actually allows you to make trades of picks and keep your team all year which is the reason we use it, but it is far from perfect. Most of us still contend that we would much rather use Yahoo! if they added the keeper feature to the mix and would gladly pay for it since we pay for it now at CBS.

The football league we had this year was a disaster at the draft. The day of our draft it wouldn't run at all so we had to postpone it. Some people couldn't even make it to the draft after that and when we did do the postponed draft it didn't run at all either. Well it did, but it took us hours to get it over because half the managers couldn't see if it was their pick or not. I guess they needed some sort of power supply repair. CBS did make up for this though and basically made our keeper league free in football last year. We are also offered a discount for next season so they do realize we had a difficult experience and are making up for it.

As for baseball it has always run fairly smooth. This year was no different. It is the only place that could have done what we needed it to do. I would have been in serious trouble had we not been there since I traded a bunch of my draft picks. The draft went fantastic and no problems existed.

Play Ball!

Opening Day for Major League Baseball was yesterday, but Tigers opening day was a few hours ago. Unfortunately I was unable to watch such a game, and did not set my DVR to record it because I assumed I would be able to watch it when it was Live. Fortunately the good people at Fox Sports Detroit are going to show the replay tonight at 8 PM!

Yesterday I was sitting in my house just chilling out and a tree fell about 5 feet from my back sun room. This place is dangerous I swear. Just 2 weeks ago another tree fell on my neighbors shed and destroyed it knocking out our power. Again. In the last year we must have had at least 5 trees fall on our power lines out back. Luckily my house hasn't been hit once, but my neighbor has made 3 insurance claims in the last year for trees falling on vrious parts of his house.

So this was what I was doing today. Cutting up a tree and getting it hauled away. I needed someone to come over and help me haul it off so I had to do it when I got the offer. Someone always wants free wood so I knew it wouldn't be a problem. I needed a longer later too because part of it was hanging up on another tree and the one I had didn't have a good look at it. So my buddy came over with his van and we threw a ladder on the top and braced it on his van rack so I wouldn't take a dive...lol

Trump keeps hair at Wrestlemania

Really does anyone think it wouldn't have been better if he did get his head shaved? He needs serious help. He would be better off getting it shaved and finding an donor that isn't himself to get a Hair Replacement surgery.

One of the world's most famous ‘do's -- considered by many to be a fashion don't -- remains intact after its owner, Donald Trump, prevailed in Sunday night's "hair match" at Wrestlemania.

Trump trumped World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon in the "Battle of the Billionaires" at the WWE's largest annual pay-per-view event. After the real estate mogul and reality TV star triumphed, he gleefully took the shears to Mr. McMahon's head.

Trump and McMahon didn't actually battle it out in the ring, but instead had WWE wrestlers representing them grapple to see who would go bald. The winner, Trump's guy Bobby Lashley, bested McMahon's chosen wrestler, Umaga. read more...

SEO Company Uses Pay By Performance

An established search engine optimization company has developed a program where they charge you for their services based upon performance. They guarantee at least 10 top 10 rankings in Google, Yahoo!, and MSN per month. If they fail to meet those minimum requirements your search engine optimization service for that month is free.

There is a set up fee, but that is only a small initial charge. Once you have joined their service, all the future months will be based on performance. Customers will pay based on how many Top 10 rankings they are able to obtain for you in the search engines. Basically getting you onto the front page so you can increase your traffic significantly as well as earn more money.
