Lions Fall to 0-6

The dream is still alive after another close call. 0-16 is still in our sights, and the odds are just a little bit better after losing to the only team on their schedule that they should even be able to compete with in the Houston Texans. We are all hoping we will get a cheap franchise opportunities if they can go 0-16. The Fords will never sell of course, but we all dream of a team owned by a bunch of fans.

The Lions made a strong effort to get back into it in the second half, but clearly they don't have what it takes to finish a game off. They came back from being down 21-0 and ended up close in the 4th quarter with around 6 minutes left at 28-21 after Calvin Johnson caught a franchise record 96-yard touchdown pass and a 2-point conversion right after to put them down 28-18. Then a long FG after poor drive management and a defense that was too tired to get the ball back quick enough.

Only 10 more to go! You know for a fact that someone isn't going to show up against them one week though. It just always happens at least once.
