Broke my iPod

What a terrible day. I don't know what to do with it. I think it is under warranty still and that I have a plan for it, but I use it ALL the time and don't know how lng I can go with out it. Maybe I will buy a Zune...Yeah right. Apple already scammed me into all kinds of extra iPod equipment. The cost is too much to bear to switch.
