The (Red) Campaign

Recently I wrote about purchasing a RAZR to help raise money for AIDS research in Africa, but didn't really explain the campaign.

(RED) was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver, Chairman of DATA to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with the world's most iconic brands to produce (PRODUCT)RED branded products. A percentage of each (PRODUCT)RED product sold is given to The Global Fund. The money helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Right now you can calculate your impact with the (RED) Calculator to see just how much you can make a difference by purchasing the products listed on the page. These are great products that you are probably looking at anyways, but if you know how it helps to purchase them beforehand it may change your mind about which to buy.
