Well....looks like they aren't going to be interested in Tatum Bell. Might as well keep him in Detroit and see what happens.
The Browns got Tim Carter out of the deal, a WR from Auburn, who has drafted in the 2nd round in 2002. In five seasons and 11 starts, Carter has 72 catches for 967 yards and three touchdowns.
Droughns found his success under Mike Shannahan in Denver and put together a nice year his first season in Cleveland. Last season he was limited and only started 12 games. He failed to reach the 1,000 yard plateu last season.
They Giants apparently aren't ready to hand the every down duties to the freak Brandon Jacobs and want to continue a commitee approach after the retirement of Tiki Barber. I don't forsee Droughns fulfulling that role so Jacobs should get his share of the workload.
